Kelston Roundhill is an important local landmark with its highly distinctive conical shape rising up from the escarpment skyline and topped by a clump of trees.
It is visible for miles around including from many parts of Bath and Bristol. Its high elevation provides spectacular views in all directions, and in summer the flanks of the hill are rich in wildflowers.
A number of walking routes converge on or near this iconic viewpoint, including the Cotswold Way.
