Come and find out more about these mysterious little creatures that live in Bath and surrounding areas. We’ll use bat detectors to track them and hopefully spot them flying.
Suitable for age 6 upwards (children must be accompanied by an adult), we’ll have a quick talk about bats and then have a look round the trees and river for them.
Booking is essential, so that we can keep you updated on weather conditions. In the event of heavy rain we will cancel.
The area near Grosvenor Bridge at the end of Kensington Meadows is a particularly good bat hot spot. We’ll meet at the Grosvenor Bridge Road entrance to the park, which is accessible to people in wheelchairs and buggies.
The walk leader is Julia Kennaby from Bathscape.
