Walk 2 Batheaston to Brassknocker Basin
Follow the picturesque Kennet & Avon Canal down to the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Dundas Aqueduct which carries the canal over the River Avon. This is the shortest and the only flat walk.

Start: Batheaston Village W3W – silks.epic.scale
Finish: Brassknocker Basin car park, off Lower Stoke. (Gates locked at 9pm in summer and 6pm in winter).
Distance: 4.3 miles / 6.9km with an up of 246 ft/75m and down of 226 ft / 69m
Terrain: Surfaced paths and pavements
Transport: Visit travelinesw.com. Buses run to Batheaston or find some limited parking in the village. Buses run to Brassknocker Hill and Warminster Road. Pay and display parking available at Brassknocker Basin car park.
Public toilets: Batheaston Public toilets (20p) and the Canal Visitor Centre at Brassknocker Basin
Refreshments: Shops and cafés in Batheaston, Bathampton Mill Pub, The George Inn and the Angelfish Café.
