As the Walking Festival draws to a close, the Ramblers invite us on a walk outside the Bathscape area, to see the countryside a little further afield, join them for this charming rural walk.
A refreshing 6.5 mile walk along charming ancient lanes, and riverside paths, through farmland, and past stunning Cotswold stone buildings.
The walk starts outside St Nicholas’ Church at 10.30. We’ll have a short coffee stop and a lunch stop along the way, so please bring drinks and a picnic lunch. Maybe join us for refreshments at the White Horse Inn, (just round the corner from Church Road), after the walk.
Walk details – No major hills to climb, but there are stiles. Resting places throughout. Walking boots recommended as some sections can be muddy. Please park considerately in Church Road, Biddestone, SN14 7DR. There are free public toilets at the beginning of Church Road, and shops/refreshments. No dogs on this walk please.
The walk leaders are Jeff and Roy from the Ramblers.
