Walk 3 – Odd Down P&R to Lansdown P&R
12.9km/8miles/ steep hills
The complete Circuit of Bath route is 21.5 miles long. We have broken it up into three linear guided walks in March, April and May. You are welcome to join one, two or all of them.
This third and final leg goes from Odd Down Park & Ride to Lansdown Park & Ride. To start the route meanders through farmland and woodland before passing through the picture perfect village of Englishcombe and on to Newbridge. From Newbridge, we will skirt Weston before ascending towards the famous landmark of Beckford’s Tower enjoying the stunning views all the way up. From Lansdown the walk leaders will guide you back to the start using public transport to retrieve cars parked there if necessary. You are welcome to leave the group at Lansdown, or in Bath city centre, if you prefer. There is also the option of breaking off from the walk at Newbridge Park & Ride if you would like a shorter, flatter route.
Places are limited, and booking is essential – you can sign up here.
Please note, the finishing time is approximate. We’ll be in touch just before the event with more information.
You’ll be guided round by Nicole Daw, Trails and Access Officer, Cotswolds Natural Landscape and Bathscape walk leader Steve Holbrow.
