Walk 1 – Newbridge P&R – Odd Down
The Circuit of Bath is a 20.5 mile walk that circumnavigates the City of Bath.
This is the first of three walks we are leading to take you round the route in an anti-clockwise direction. The walks will be linear, but walk leaders will guide you back to the start using public transport.
This section is the easiest and shortest so a great way to start. It leads you south out of the city, into the countryside just a stones throw away from Twerton, before passing through picturesque Englishcombe before crossing farmland and woodland to finish at Odd Down Park & Ride.
This walk is 5.3 miles(8.6km) long and mostly flat with some gentle climbs and short, quite steep descent from Pennyquick Park down to the Bath Mill below. We will stop for lunch at the Community Garden in Englishcombe. Please bring food and drink with you as there are no shops here.
Places are limited, and booking is essential.
Please note, the finishing time is approximate. We’ll be in touch just before the event with more information.
You’ll be guided round by Nicole Daw, Trails and Access Officer, Cotswolds Natural Landscape and Steve Holbrow
