Helping wildlife at Newbridge Slopes
The Community Action for Nature Group is working with Avon Wildlife Trust to improve this area where the city edge meets the countryside. We will be clearing scrub, to uncover a hidden footpath and help restore the grassland so delicate wildflowers have the space to grow in the spring.
All equipment will be provided and no skills are required, just wear suitable clothing and bring a packed lunch.
Meet at the toilets by the bus stop at Newbridge Park and Ride. Parking available for free at P&R, or you can take the P&R bus. You’ll need 20p to use the toilet.
It would be really helpful if you could drop Nicole a text to let her know you’re coming, so she knows how many tools to bring.
