The 10th Corsham Walking Festival will promote all that is interesting to see both in the Town and the surrounding countryside. The programme allows all walkers to explore and discover this beautiful part of Wiltshire and Southwest England. Walks vary in distance and go from Easy through Moderate to Challenging.
The guided walks include Ancient Parishes and Manor Houses, Industrial and Rural Heritage, Health and Wellbeing, Wildflowers and Wildlife and of course our charming Town and surrounding countryside with its hidden valleys, meandering brooks, and far-reaching views.
As always, there will be some new walks, as well as some favourites and have several experts to talk about specialist subjects en route, as well as experienced walk leaders and back markers to guide you.
This year the organisers will be working in partnership with the local primary schools, pupils will create an illustrated map of their walk to school. There will be a display of maps the children have created at the Springfield Community Campus during the festival week.
