From Swainswick layby skirting round Charmy Down to Hunterswick Wood and reservoir. Ascent to Charmy Down, round to Holts Wood and Short Wood to Conservation Area supported by Wessex Water and Cotswold Wardens. Some steep hills. Walk could be extended to Little Solsbury Hill and back if walkers wanted. Bring refreshments. Could be muddy.

Warden leaders will take all reasonable care and precautions, but each walker is ultimately responsible for their own safety and for determining their capability to complete the chosen walk. Only assistance dogs are allowed on these walks. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help them to take care of the countryside.
