From the western end of the historic village of Marshfield we quickly reach open countryside
with dramatic views into St Catherine’s valley where we will stop for a morning break. We then descend to the St Catherine’s brook with its tumbling water and our lunch stop before climbing back up through woodland to pass the gates to Ashwicke Hall and across open fields to return to Marshfield. Please bring refreshments for the morning break and lunch.
Refreshments available in Marshfield village pub and teashop at the end of the walk.
