A varied circular walk taking in a quaint Cotswold village, farmland and riverside before reaching Dundas Aqueduct for lunch. Return via Brass Knocker Hill and the tramway to Bathampton. Bring a packed lunch.

Starting point has good bus connections from Bath, Chippenham and Melksham. Features on the route: Browne’s Folly Nature Reserve and Tower, River Avon, Dundas Aqueduct, Kennet & Avon Canal, Somerset Coal Canal, Bathampton Tramway, Railway line.

 


This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board.
