Drop in with the family and talk to Bathscape and local volunteers about the small changes being made to the site. Find out about the areas of meadow creation and trees to be planted. We will be running some bug hunting activities for children to find out what minibeasts already enjoy the space. We will also be continuing the process of creating both permanent and informal memorials to the people buried here.
Local historian, John Payne, will be there and his booklet on the history of the Workhouse will be available.
There is no parking or facilities at this site. Nearest parking (and it’s free and has toilets) is Odd Down Park & Ride, which is a 5 to 10 minute walk from there.
Please do not attend if you are displaying symptoms of Covid-19. We recommend people take regular (twice a week) lateral flow tests and don’t attend if they have a positive result.
