A classic Lansdown Walk.
From the Lansdown Park and Ride, we’ll walk along by Beckford’s Tower and the drop down to the beautiful nature reserve at Primrose Hill. We’ll then cross to the picture perfect Charlcombe Church and visit its Quiet Garden and Holy Well before a steep climb up to Soper’s Wood and then back to Lansdown.
Walk details – steep uphill and downhill and potentially muddy if there’s been rain. It’s 5 miles, with kissing gates and rural lanes.
Please note there is a £2 charge for parking at the Park & Ride unless you’re also using the bus – which has to be paid online beforehand or by using the Mipermit app. This walk is dog free please.
