Scything: training in use of a traditional scythe
Come and join Matt Collis at this special site within the Bathscape to learn skills and gain confidence using a traditional scythe.
The Bathscape project aims to manage and share our special wildlife and habitats and help local people to gain conservation skills. During this training afternoon, engaging and expert Matt Collis will share key advice and will demonstrate ways to effectively use a traditional scythe; you’ll then have the chance to practice for yourself. Scythe and sharpening stones are provided.
