A pavement-based walk that explores the social history of disease in Bath. From plague to cholera, how did the residents of Bath cope with sickness and disease? In a city famous for its water cures, how were patients cared for, and how was ill-health perceived? A chance to examine the sometimes surprising stories behind some of history’s horrible afflictions.
