Bath is a World Heritage City and one of the best examples of a Georgian City in the World however on this walk, we will see some places and sites that are not often talked about on guided walks: buildings, sites and renovations created in the reign of Queen Victoria. It is through the architecture that we will explore some of the attitudes Victorians had to those institutions and how these buildings touched peoples’ daily lives.
Meet at the Great West Doors to Bath Abbey. The walk will last 1.5 hours and will be a short heritage stroll around the centre of the City of Bath.
There are plenty of facilities in the city centre. This free walk is led by Anne Twitchett and Carole Boardman.
