We are on a mission to improve local grasslands and woodlands, helping to tackle the ecological emergency.
The Bathscape is a unique area of outstanding beauty, with its hills, valleys, grasslands and woodlands. Its rich history and heritage, amazing geology and wildlife, needs us all to take care of it.
We are improving the management of 80 hectares of woodland, 100 grasslands and 30 important viewpoints. We’re creating 12 new flower-rich meadows and surveying 10 archaeological sites.
Our team of advisors can offer owners of woodland and meadows within the Bathscape area free advice on wildlife-friendly management.
We have also created this guide Making Meadows, based on the experiences of the Bath Meadow Owners Group, to help you get started.
Small grants are available to facilitate identified work. To learn more about our advisory services and small grants please email info@bathscape.co.uk.
We depend on the support of a team of local volunteers. So if you want to help us to restore and take care of the Bathscape area then please do get in touch via our volunteering page. We offer some great opportunities.
